This worked example uses a 10 mg vial, 2 mL of diluent, and a 1,750 mcg reference amount.

How this example is calculated: 10 mg ÷ 2 mL = 5 mg/mL. The 1,750 mcg reference amount equals 1.75 mg. That produces a 0.35 mL draw, or 35 units on a U-100 syringe.

Syringe units assume a U-100 syringe. Always verify the vial label, syringe type, formulation, and arithmetic independently.
