How the calculator works

The arithmetic is the same for any soluble compound. The calculator converts mg and mcg to one common unit before applying three formulas.

1

Concentration

vial amount ÷ diluent volume

2

Draw volume

target amount ÷ concentration

3

Syringe units

draw volume × syringe units per mL

Frequently asked questions

How is peptide concentration calculated?

Divide the total vial amount in milligrams by the diluent volume in milliliters. The result is the concentration in mg/mL.

How are U-100 syringe units calculated?

A U-100 syringe has 100 units per milliliter, so the calculated draw volume in mL is multiplied by 100.

Does adding more diluent change the amount in the vial?

No. It changes concentration and draw volume, but it does not change the total mass in the vial.

Does this calculator recommend a dose?

No. It only converts values entered by the user and does not choose a target amount or provide a protocol.
